An abandoned factory that was once filled with a life-saving technology is haunted by the ghosts of its past.
Genre: Mystery, Science Fiction
Excerpt:
Back in the day, people called it the “organ factory.” The
irony is that we have actual organ factories now. Fabrication
technology has spread farther than preservation technology ever
did. But there was a time when all we had was organ preservation. A
time when anyone who could extend the life of a donated organ by
even just a bit could save lives that would otherwise have been
lost.
And it was during that time that Alectrona Fabron invented the technology that made it possible to store almost any organ indefinitely.

Episode art description: Digital drawing. Two figures. At right, a person seen from behind and the left side, wearing a hoodie, holding up a small black disc in the left hand, stands in front of a chamber seen at an angle. The chamber has clear walls, a woman lies on a pillow within, covered by a blanket from waist down. An opaque connecting section of the chamber obscures the woman’s face. Below the clear walls, panels, buttons, and controls are visible. The acronym spelling the word “kiss” is seen along the top edge of the control panel. The inside of the chamber is bright, but the room is dark. Watermark of the word “storyfeather” lies over the image.
