placed on his desk. He took a magnifying lens to one of them and
bent over it. He frowned and glanced up at Trudy with the
expression that she expected him to have on his face, annoyed but
certain disbelief.
“Spider-snake?”
“Yes, the story comes from a reputable news outlet.” Trudy flipped through her notebook.
“Let me guess, the Curious Cryptid Weekly?”
