Most people think the “double” in Mokkie’s Double Diner means that the diner has two levels. That’s…not what it means.

Genre: Mystery, Science Fiction

Excerpt:
Did you know that Mokkie’s Double Diner is the only place in this sector that serves everything from Trilenkarian froth to Earthlingian burgers and fries?

A sound machine sits beside a self-serve frozen cream fountain, and both are loaded with enough variety that even a sample of each choice would occupy most beings for multiple lifetimes.

And that’s just the first level. Such luxury. Who would want anything more?

Episode Art Description: Digital drawing.  View of four customers seen from the back sitting on stools at the counter of a diner. From left to right, the customers appear to be a human holding a frothy drink in the bent right arm. A humanoid person with downturned horns at the sides of their head, wearing a blazer with a patch at the back bearing geometric shapes, with arms around the next customer, who is a slime-covered serpentine figure, whose body extends out of frame and back into frame, ending in a face with a huge eyeball at right. The fourth customer is a gray alien wearing a plaid shirt, left elbow propped on the countertop, hand holding open a book. On the counter at right is a milkshake and at left is a plate with burger and fries. A couple of shelves behind the counter hold salt and pepper shakers, ketchup bottles, glasses, and a stack of plates.
